Horsie Card

I have the sweetest vet (ok my horses do). This card is for her; sending payment for a most unpleasant task but she was so very kind and gentle.

Trying to get back into blogging..........

The last post was SO very long ago. Since then I have new obsessions: more stamping ideas and quilling. I haven't given up any of the previous ones so you can imagine the problem. Anyway, I hope to upload more images and use this to keep track of what the heck I'm doing.

Wow, I can't believe its been such a long time since I last posted. Time does fly; whether one is having fun or not. I mostly have fun, though.

My time is taken up with horses, horses, crafting, horses, work, crafting, horses.....well, you get the idea.

I want to start making more cards. I certainly have enough tools for it just need the time and inclination. So, a picture of a card, a shelf and some badge holders I've made over the past month or so.

Update....

And this is how I spend my time. This doesn't even show all of them but aside from human family these sweethearts are next in line. They all have separate and special personalities and they all teach me something daily. Right now, I think I'm most proud of Almas; purple halter and the horse with the bareback saddle - as opposed to the colt with said same. She came here timid and scared and all but totally unhandleable (is that a word?). And now I can get a lead on her, bring her out of the pasture, change her halter, and more. She trusts me. She still gets a little spooked but looks to me to make it all better.

In another week or two the final members of the herd will arrive; Purdy and Nick. They were rescued by Forevermorgans from certain slaughter. Purdy was in foal at the time. We didn't know if we were rescuing Nick or Nikki. Thanks to them and forever grateful to Helga, they will be on their way here soon.

Yep, its all about the horses right now.

2008-New Obsession

And so I begin a new year and a new obsession. I've discovered Sculpey and making my own beads for macramé. It was just so darn hard to find nice beads with holes big enough. Someone on a list suggested making my own and a new obsession was born. Sigh......... And knitting, and crochet, and felting, and macramé and...and...
